Sixty Dome Mosque:

In 15th century, Khan Jahan Ali built multi dome mosque (77 dome) which known as sixty dome mosque (ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদ) and it’s recognized as world heritage site by UNESCO. The construction of mosque started in 1424 and end in 1459. The mosque was used as a prayer hall, madrasah and court. It is located in Bagerhat district in southern Bangladesh which is in the division of Khulna.

This mosque bear a great memory that how Muslim ruled the world.

Shona mosque (golden mosque):

Soto Shona mosque is a historical mosque of Bangladesh. Wali Mohammad named a person built the mosque during the reign of Sultan Hussain Shah, between 1493 and 1519. It is located in Chapai Nawabganj district of Bangladesh.

Soto Shona mosque is one of the greatest sign of Muslim architecture.

Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque:

In 17th century, Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque was built by Kazi Ibadullah during the reign of Nazims Farrukhsiyar. It is located at Old Dhaka

Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque Is A Very Attractive Historical Mosque Of Dhaka City.

Star Mosque (Tara Mosque):

Mirza Gulam Pir (Mirza Ahmed Jan) built Tara mosque in 1800 century. It is located is Armanitola . The mosque has ornate designs and is decorated with motifs of blue stars.

Later on, a merchant named Ali Jan Bepari reconstructed and remodeled the Mosque.


Bagha mosque:

Bagha mosque was constructed on a western dam of a large pond surrounded by Mosque. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Rajshahi. The mosque was built by Sultan Nusrat Shah in 1932.


Binat Bibi Mosque:

Binat Bibi Mosque, among a large number of mosques in the city of Dhaka, this is the oldest mosque built in 1454 by Bakht Binat, the daughter of Marhamat. It was during the rule of the Sultan of Bengal, Nasiruddin Mahmud Shah. The mosque is located in Narinda, Dhaka.


Laldighi Mosque:

Laldighi Mosque is an ancient mosque in Bangladesh which situated in Rangpur District.

The mosque is believed to be built in the late 17th to early 18th century.  But someone told that the mosque is built in 1200 century. No more details found about mosque.

Chandanpura Mosque:

Chandanpura Mosque is known as Masjid-e-Siraj ud-Daulah located in Chittagong.  The Mosque is popular tourist attraction for its impressive architecture consisting of multiple domes and minarets painted in bright colors.


Shaista Khan Mosque:

Shaista Khan Mosque is a historically significant architectural monument situated by the Buriganga River at Mitford Area in old Dhaka. The mosque is an architecture of Mughal period.

Baitul Mukarram:

Baitul Mukarram is the national mosque of Bangladesh. It’s Located at the center of Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, the mosque was completed in 1968. The mosque is10th biggest mosque in the world.
